We are five musicians with pretty eclectic tastes, but most of all we enjoy the satisfaction of creating music that is challenging and a blast to perform. And our fans invariably enjoy coming along for the ride!

It’s kind of difficult to summarize our style because there are quite a few influences at work. Traditional swing, Latin, funk, fusion, and even elements of prog rock can all be heard. The foundation is mostly jazz, so there’s a lot of soloing and details that are about just that. There are lots of cool melodies, harmonies, and grooves that are all part of our composing and arranging style that's been in the works for many years.

We’ve all been very busy players in the southeast in just about every genre of music - from straight ahead jazz, jazz fusion, classical and symphonic music. You may have heard a few of us without even knowing it, as we have been among the house players in the pit bands that perform at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC - we've played for dozens of National Broadway tours and many other touring artists. And when we’re not playing, we are busy teaching others how to do it at universities and schools in the Upstate notable for fostering talent in younger folks.

Lastly, we tip our hats to the masters of all these genres that came before us and hope to follow the amazing examples they created for all of us. Hope to see you at the next gig!
